The share of financing the Priangarie in the program for the protection of Lake Baikal will be reduced from 30 to 24%
Deputy Minister of Economics and Finance of the Russian government Anton Grigorov said at an international water forum that the share of financing from the budget of the Irkutsk region under the federal target program for the protection of Lake Baikal will be reduced from 30 to 24% in 2018

Anton Grigorov noted that the financing of the program can be increased from 58 billion rubles to 80-90 billion.
"We have an instruction by the president to prepare proposals for the Federal Target Program and its duration by the end of the year, paying special attention to its implementation. I think the FTP will include all the activities that are now in the draft program "Baikal: Great Lake of the Great Country", increasing the amount accordingly, "Grigorova said.
The federal target program "Protection of Lake Baikal and socio-economic development of the Baikal natural territory for 2012-2020 was approved by the Russian government in 2012." In the Irkutsk region, within the framework of the program in 2015-2017, the construction of 27 municipal property projects worth 10 billion rubles was planned within the federal program, of which federal budget funds - 6.2 billion rubles. September 14, it became known that the Irkutsk region government sent an application for funding from the federal budget for the implementation of the program for a total of 21.4 billion rubles for the planning period from 2018 to 2020.
In February 2017, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of Russia, Sergei Yastrebov, said that under the Federal Target Program in 2016 3 billion rubles remained unused. According to his forecasts, in 2017, losses under the program can reach 5 billion.
Priority project for the conservation of Lake Baikal "Great Lake of the Great Country" is planned to be launched in 2018. The Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of Russia plans to extend the federal target program for the protection of Lake Baikal from 2020 to 2030 and increase its funding by two times compared to today's costs. At the same time, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation proposed to close the federal target program (FTP) for the protection of Lake Baikal, which is planned until 2020, due to errors in the management of the program.
The Baikal Water Forum is held in Irkutsk from 14 to 16 September. The idea to hold a similar forum in the Angara region belongs to the mayor of the French city of Pravene, Kristjanu Jacob. At the event, it is planned to discuss such issues as the introduction of a new waste management system and the transition to advanced available technologies, the collection and processing of subglacial waters, the development of hydropower engineering on the tributaries of Lake Baikal and the environmental problems of the operation of water transport.
Governor of the Irkutsk region Sergei Levchenko on September 14 at the forum said that the government will choose a company for sewage treatment at Baikal in the terms of contest.

Антон Григоров отметил, что финансирование программы может быть увеличено с 58 миллиардов рублей до 80-90 миллиардов.
«У нас есть поручение президента до конца года подготовить предложения по увеличению стоимость ФЦП и её продолжительности, обратив особо внимание на её исполнение. Я думаю, в ФЦП включат все мероприятия, которые сейчас есть в проекте программы «Байкал: Великое озеро Великой страны», увеличив соответственно сумму», — цитирует агентство Григорова.
Федеральная целевая программа «Охрана озера Байкал и социально-экономическое развитие Байкальской природной территории на 2012—2020 годы была утверждена правительством России в 2012 году. В Иркутской области в рамках реализации программы в 2015—2017 годы в рамках ФЦП планировалось строительство 27 объектов муниципальной собственности общей стоимостью 10 миллиардов рублей, из них средств федерального бюджета — 6,2 миллиарда рублей. 14 сентября стало известно, что правительство Иркутской области направило заявку на финансирование из средств федерального бюджета на реализацию программы на сумму 21,4 миллиарда рублей на плановый период с 2018 по 2020 год.
В феврале 2017 года замминистра природных ресурсов и экологии России Сергей Ястребов заявил, что в рамках ФЦП в 2016 году остались не освоенными 3 миллиарда рублей. По его прогнозам, в 2017 году потери по программе могут достигнуть 5 миллиардов.
Приоритетный проект по сохранению озера Байкал «Великой озеро великой страны» планируется запустить в 2018 году. Министерство природных ресурсов и экологии России планирует продлить федеральную целевую программу охраны озера Байкал с 2020 по 2030 годы и увеличить её финансирование в два раза по сравнению с сегодняшними затратами. При этом министерство экономического развития РФ предложило закрыть федеральную целевую программу (ФЦП) по охране озера Байкал, которая рассчитана до 2020 года, из-за ошибок в управлении программой.
Байкальский водный форум проходит в Иркутске с 14 по 16 сентября. Идея провести подобный форум в Приангарье принадлежит мэру французского города Правен Кристьяну Жакобу. На мероприятии планируется обсуждение таких вопросов, как внедрение новой системы обращения с отходами и переход на передовые доступные технологии, сбор и переработка подсланевых вод, развитие гидроэнергетики на притоках озера Байкал и экологические проблемы эксплуатации водного транспорта.
Губернатор Иркутской области Сергей Левченко 14 сентября на форуме заявил, что правительство будет выбирать компанию для очистки сточных вод на Байкале в условиях конкурса.
